This guy Nathan Forbes keeps"harassing" me and telling me that my company's credit will be in jeopardy because I have past due payment in the amount of $746.80 for "on-line Advertising" that our company never authorized or signed up for. He threaten to bring legal action against my company if I didn't pay and he claims that my clerical secretary authorized this service and that they can proceed with legal action because of some Uniform Commercial Code 2-4.3 that contains that the "taped recording" was a legal contract for services. I found this interesting because on the same note, I received "harassing" collection calls from "US Public Yellowpages" for another company that I operate at my same location claiming the same thing that my clerical secretary "authorized" the service and they have a taped recording and cited the same UCC code and incidentally the charges were almost identical...on this invoice from US Public Yellowpages the amount due was $756.35 and wouldn't you know it, I get a call from Nathan Forbes...now under the disguise of Pre-Legal for US Public Yellowpages and not at all affliated with Online Public Yellowpages. Now they claim that US Public Yellowpages is located at 701 North Green Valley Parkway, Suite 200, Henderson, NV 89074. What a "Clever Scam"!! They are very good at itimidating, but I did not let my guard down, and I just kept on "overtalking" him and told him I will be filing complaints with the FTC and the State's Attorney's Office, etc. and of course he kept citing that UCC Code 2-4.3 that I could not find anything online about this code. I have since filed a complaint with the Div. of Cosumer Protection (DCP) - NY State Attorneys Office. I am thinking I should file a complaint in Nevada against the US Public Yellowpages that claims they are in Nevada. I also filed a complaint with the FTC against the Online Public Yellowpages from NY.
