Like everyone else I wasn't aware of the secondary charges for the kit and the monthly service. Called the customer service line on the smoke51.com website and spoke with someone who got rid of the service and told me what they could do for the kit was to discount it to $30. Since I purchased this as a gift and still wanted to give it to my friend I decided to take the offer. Not sure if I could have gotten a refund if I would have tried harder but $30 was much better than $99.
