Moving from 12821 Little Elliott Dr. Apt. 5 Hagerstown, MD 21742
to 1912 Abbey Lane Hagerstown, MD 21740. Movers sent a contractor to move me with the wrong truck. Should have been a 26 ft. Instead I receive a 17 ft. with a 7 ft. attach narrow trailer. All of my 3 bedroom contents couldn't fix in the truck and trailer and had to be left behind. The truck broke down on the highway with a bad battery. Two hours was waisted driving the movers to find a battery for the truck and install it. No one was watching the parked truck and trailer and there were three movers. In short, I was missing several boxes with my personal items and never accounted for. I didn't check the truck or trailer, which I should to see if any of the boxes were still in there. Being fatigue after the long lost day I signed off on the papers from the movers. After awhile and notice the shortage of lowes boxes packed by me not in the house. Many items were unaccounted for. Movers will not send a claim form and state my signing off gave them permission to end the contract. This is a scam to me and they were paid for their services. The leftovers items which couldn't fix in the truck was left there for two day until I had to negotiate a second move.

All I want is my missing items. I trusted them. I ask if the driver and His help were bonded and they are not. I was quoted: "Maryand State does not require a mover or movers to be bonded." How many people are falling in this situation. It is a scam and fraud.
