Dear Sir or Madam
We purchased DeLonghi coffee machine model ECAM23450s from the Good Guys Tenancy 4 Chadstone Lifestyle Precinct on 20 11 2010 for $1,534
with 2 year warranty and we paid a further $119 for an additional 2 years warranty
The machine stopped working and we took it to the repairers Service sphere, they told us that a cockroach inside the machine caused the failure and that they wouldn't repair because of "Health and Safety" Laws, but however if we paid $800 or $900 they would repair it.
They also said our additional 2 year warranty, which was not yet needed would be lost also.
This is obviously a suspect practice we took the machine back and we contact you to see if you could help us.
I have all relevant paper work -
Reciept, warranty and quote from Service Sphere for $661.88 for repair after we have it fumigated.
I cannot include the paper work but I can fax it or post it.
Please advise us
Thank You Ian Hellings
