I have just been the victim of a online scam. I feel compelled to email it to you as others after looking on Google have had the same problem. This company needs to be closed down and stopped trading...
It is a scam on the website ziinga online auctions if you google it you can find out more. Instead of making you buy credits first and foremost, they let you bid on something innocently, and win. You pay the silly amount that it is, and you are asked for your credit card details and to fill in a form. Which you do, still not knowing that.. IN the terms and conditions is a section about you automatically signing up for 3 months of £60 subscription.. And to cancel its £32.. But you still get charged that as well... It does not show in the costing when you go to pay for your item clearly that you are also paying for this subscription but more of a clause in their terms and conditions. You should not be allowed to bid until you have these credits, however when you do buy credits you will never win the item as the computer bids you out just before you win... So basically there are no items that you will win, ever!
I wrote to them saying the below..
What is that cancellation fee for, you setting me up in a membership I do not want, that is only a fee written in your terms and conditions. Yes you sell credits, but.. I did not go to a buy credits now tab and ask to buy them. Instead you let people have the first bid, and win go straight through to pay, and as soon as their credit card details are with you, you have got them by the short and curleys, they are automatically entered into your PREMIUM betting service.(which no one wins on as its computerised so basically its just a money making machine for you). That is it in a nut shell.. The fact is, you should not let people bid on that site until they have brought credits first. You have no rights to AUTOMATICALLY do anything without it being clear on the payment section written on the website the costings before they pay...But instead you let them bet and win, take their details and when they realise what has happened its too late....
Kind regards

Meloney
