I have been receiving phone calls for the past couple of days and a message from someone with an Indian Accent. I called back this morning and the man told me that I had received $300.00 from them and each time they tried to collect, the funds were denied and there are three criminal charges pending against me. When I asked when I had gotten the advance, he said that he could not tell me the exact date. I am not sure what I am to do with this as I did not receive an advance. I work in the legal field, so I know when to keep my mouth shut. He said I had received various e mails, which I have not, and asked why I didn't respond. I told him obviously if I had received them, I would have at least called. He also said that I will be served tomorrow and arrested. What am I supposed to do with this information?

- I can inform you that this is a scam. I have been in contact with the State Attorney General's Office in NC. They advised me not to speak to these people and by no means am I to send them any money. They never contacted me again when I informed them of this. Eventually, they ended up calling me from a different place, but basically the same thing and they asked for my attorney's information. I stated to them I would give it to them. I gave them the telephone number for the legal dept. in the Attorney General's Office (lol!) It worked they haven't called me again either. But I too had never received any type of a loan. They are just scam artist. I honestly believe that with all these people getting ripped off that they should be able to disconnect their phone services or something?
