My ninety year mother received a letter informing her that she had definitely won £20,500 in a prize draw. All she had to do was complete a form and submit an order.
The order arrived but no cheque. You can imagine the disappointment. She also received another letter indicating that she had won £15,000. Surely this scam is in breech of regulations.
Further, there was no answer when I telephoned the number given. It was answered with a recorded message after which i was cut off. Is this another scam?
