My wife and I arranged home comfort premium to protect our boiler. We signed up and arranged premiums to be paid. We were told that the cover would not apply until an inspection had taken place . We paid the first premium and 4 weeks later were told that we still were not coverered as the inspection had not taken place. We then decided to cancel the arrangemenrt and were told that we could not have a refund.

Although this is only a small ammount of money, it seems shady practice to make people pay then tell them they are not covered until after an inspection that they are unable or unwilling to do.
Also shady is the unwillingness by them to give a refund on premiums paid for a non existent service.
