Signed up for the free 7-day trial and canceled the same day. They billed my credit card $39.95 anyway. I contacted them and they would not refund it. My credit card (Chase) can not block charges from specific vendors, so I had to get another credit card and move all of my automatic payments to the new card. I just received an email today, a year later, that Archives.com are going to try to charge me for a renewal of $39.95. Thankfully, I had read that this happened to other people so was prepared. Total scam. I don't know why they haven't been shut down.
