I recently purchased a boat through Craigslist here in Ft Walton Beach, FL through a company called Online Safe Depot LTD. They are a company that allows buyers and sellers on Craigslist to make transactions. They claim that they operate in the U.K. Canada and the U.S. I am concerned because there is no phone number for contact information and there are many misspellings on their website and some negative fraud information about them online. I went to my bank at Wells Fargo locally to hopefully stop the payment and they said they would have to go through our Federal Reserve who in turn contacts Barclays bank to hopefully retrieve the funds. The Account number at Barclays was GB97BARC20246453324605. I initiated the bank transfer through my bank, Wells Fargo on the 17th of October 2012 and went in to stop the transaction today on the 19th of October. I have not received any calls from the company or the product and it is definitely fraudulent.
