I'ts been 12 years since I had a student loan ( in 1999). But last week I noticed some money withdrawn from my acount.... so I went in to the bank to ask where it went... they seemed scrambled and confussed.. so I asked for a transaction print out... it showed that the withdrawal had gone to for a loan payment????
when I ask what loan they had trouble explaining it... they could just could give me a phone number??? I wanted a company Name.. SO they called the number while I was there and told me it was a Debt recovery company..and that I should call them .. the Number they gave me was 1-855-771-6018... I looked it up on the internet and several other people have called that number and all of them said it seem like a scam. I'm woundering what gives them the right to help themselves to my money?? and why do the banks not ask any questions... How can the banks do that without my autorizaton?
