I tried the "FREE" try for this dating svc and then was given 3 options for paying and I chose the $12.99/mo so i input on-line my debit card and then called the bank the next day to make sure that that is what was actually deducted from my bk acct to find out that instead of charging the $12.00 they deducted $81.00!!! I read the print that says that they will continue to chg $12.99 to my acct monthly until I call and cancel. It NEVER stated that they would charge the full $81.00!!! When I called customer service the next day, 10/17/12, they put in a report and specifically told me at least 3 times that they will give me one month for $15.99 and the remaining credit of $65.01 would be credited back to my acct within 48 hrs!!!! He gave me a reference number which I have at home & not with me right now as I write this, but I have one! So I called today about 1/2 hr beyond the 48 hr period and was told that the person was wrong - NOW I am being told that it will take 3-5 business days to receive that credit, yet another delay tactic? I then asked to speak to a mgr & was put thru to whomever but no one picked up. The phone rang and rang and rang. Is this whole thing a scam? If I do not get the credit back to my acct for $65.01 I will file a complaint next week with the Better Business Bureau, etc..... I work for an atty and am not messing around. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and lied to more than 1x now. What they did was illegal. They have to legally deduct and charge only the amount I applied for and what the terms stated!!! And not do what they want once they get your card info.
