I went on match.com and got an instant message from one of the men that had his profile on match.com as well. We started talking and he told me that he was on a business trip to Africa. He emailed me Monday saying that his cheque could not be cashed in Africa and that if I could loan him $1100 USD to be reimbursed when he gets in to the US. I told him I didn't have the money and that I'm probably a victim of a scam. I had given him my id and password into match.com and realized he had gotten into my page and changed my password and now I cannot log in to my profile on match.com. I wonder if match.com is making money off us to scam us into relationships that are not even true. I am even worried that my credit card information that was used for my subscription on match.com be also taken advantage of. I just want my subscription reimbursed and also warn other users on match.com for awareness sake.
