I am so annoyed I checked my account today to find out that my account is $30 dollars less than it should be due to Vantage Funding. The representative claimed that I applied for a loan with them on October 9th, which I did not. All I wanted i my money back, but she continued to offer me a gas voucher, which I declined. She also told me that basically the company took my money, and there is nothing that I can do about it. I plan to file a police report; I wasn't even offered 15 days for a refund! Any suggestions on what I should do? I am definitely going to call back.

- Suggestions...Go to your bank and dispute the charges, close the account, and open a new account. Preferably the same day the transaction post to your account. Most banks will do this for you in this situation without any difficulties. Notify the BBB and the FTC of your complaint. CALL your State Attorney General's Office and pursue a case with them and find out if it is even legal in your state. After you complete this be prepared for what comes next, guess what? Another scam. Someone will call you from another state threatening you pay money or criminal charges will be taken out against you for nonpayment. But this too, will be confirmed as a scam by your State Attorney General's Office. Furthermore, this company is operating under three different names (that I am aware of) maybe more. They have taken people for thousands of dollars.
