I received a letter from the America Direct Lottery Sweepstakes that was postmarked from Canada. They sent a check and said that it is supposed to pay for the taxes etc... You have to call a Bobby Hopkins, claims manager, to activate your check. For one thing, the check they sent was from Continental Airlines. Why would an airline send a sweepstakes check? I knew it was a scam and never called. Its too bad that people have to scam others to get money. Whatever happened to an honest living?
