Friday 10/12/2012 I signed up as a new customer at amazon.com and I order 1,700 dollars in merchandise, with next day shipping included.

I had forgotten to update an old cell phone number with my bank, and got a responce from amazon's account specialist who locked my account placed my orders on hold requesting the phone number.

simple enough to fix right?

I called my bank and updated the phone number and sent the customer account specialist the updated information and recieved 3 new e mails requesting it again an again.

I called my bank asking them waht the problem is and they told me Amazon never contacted them to request the information.

I contacted customer service by phone and chat ensuring they had the information to pass along to the account specialist and sent the account specialist several email's as well, this condition then got dragged out over 3 days with nothing being accomplished and here I am locked out of my account unable to cancel my orders or update my info on my account so that I could reorder and fix the problem myself.

I feel I was treated like trash, and that that account specialist should be filling out job applications right now.

I finally contacted Amazon again and told them to cancel my account, cancel my orders as this is unexceptable customer service and that the account specialist needs to spend more time working and less time on facebook.

So I never got my 1,700 dollars of merchandise but the cash was certainly on hold at my bank through all this.
