I ordered basic cable,simply to watch tv.( ABC,NBC,CBS,& Fox) .I wanted to know what was going on in the world. I'm a disabled person on a limited income.If a natural desaster strikes I wouldn't know to take cover nor, would I be aware of the progress of the storm.The digital converter boxes we were mandated to get only worked for about a week or so.so i decided to call comcast My first bill $92.66. yes !for just a basic tv package.Keep in mind I only wanted to watch these four chanels. A rep from comcast called me and offered to "up grade" my service to package that would give me more channels.when in fact all I recieved was more informoricals and many of the same programs.my second bill doubled to $143.92 .my monthly bill i was told was to be $63.00.

  • I too am disabled, I have had comcast/xfinity for 2 yrs (only cable available here) my bill has never been what was quoted, nevr been the same twice, and they cut it off EVERY month because its due on the 2nd ad I dont recieve my check until the 3rd (they refuse to change due date) and of course, they charge me the late fee & reconnect every month!! I dont know how they are legally allowed to treat customers this way.
