Recieved a call from a government organization saying I won 2nd place sweepstakes through US Continential Sweeps. Instruction to call Lucy Sharp at (Personal Info Removed) and winning number was WXT1221. She said won second place in sweepstakes and after taxes would be awarded 350,000. dollars. Then Lucy notificed David Monahan at (Personal Info Removed). He is with GAOREG, which they said was a federal government regulations company. David said would get me in contact with section chief and his name is John Wagner. Mr Wagner said that 1% tax had to be collected from the Obama Act and that if a prize was over 100,000. they would have to collect 1%. On second conversation he requested 3500.00 and asked if I could send it or if I needed finacial assistance. I said yes, then asked the following questions about if any immediate family was military, answer NO. If I owned my own home, answer,YES, Did I own my own business with less than 10 employees, Answer YES. If you or husband are on social security., Answer both are. Then said let me see if you qualify for a discount. He said he would check and call me back. He did call back and said it could be reduced from 5500.00 to 2400.00. Then asked if I could deposit money that afternoon and I said it would have to be tomorrow, which was Sat. Oct. 6, 2012. I was instructed to get 2400.00 cash and deposit the money into a Wells Farge account in the name Richard Ellis. Account number 793-864-1113 at phyiscal address of (Personal Info Removed). I deposited 2400.00 cas to the above account on 10-6-12 and was instructed to call him on his personal cell phone once the funds were deposited. I call John Wagner at (Personal Info Removed). I left a message with the reciept number and transaction # 0270037 at 10:54am. They arranged for a cashier check delivery on friday Oct. 12, 2012 at my home between 10-12 in the morning. He contacted me everyday as he was instructed to do until delivery. Today, Thursday, Oct. 11,2012 at 1:40pm I was contacted by Brenda Taylor from Continental Sweepstakes to notify me that the first place winner was an illegal alien and could not recieved the prize which left the first place winning of 4 Million 7 hundred thousand and after New Jersey taxes I would recieve 3.5 Million. So therefore I would not recieve my previous prize check on friday. Brenda Taylor said she would contact my Section Chief, John Wagner and he would be contacting me. I asked Brenda about the 1% GAOREG money I would owe and she said didn't know and the representive will talk to me about it. When asked again about the legitmatcy of this sweepstakes she re-assured me it was and said I could go the website and I would listed a the 1st prize winner. The website is www.uscontinentalsweep.com. I was then instructed to put in my prize code which is XWT1221 and my name did appear as the prize winner of 3.5 Million. I then did some more research to find that are never paid by anyone elseif you are a real sweepstakes winner. Then I called Alliance Sweepstakes Service and was told they had 20 reports about this company just today.
