I received a Voice mail stating that I owed this Pay Day loan Company money from which I supposedly had borrowed through a loan from them. Problem is, I never received a loan from them or applied. Now on the 10/04/12, I did receive a phone call from Epayday (the company)offering me a loan. I obliged and began to do an over the phone application with the representative (not realizing at the moment that this was the company), I got disconnected and never finished the process of completing the application. Shortly after, I received a Voice mail telling me that this company is taking me to court and the allegations against me are as follows: check fraud, theft of monies etc. Now this company swears I had owed them this money for sometime now but on they're records the voice mail stated that they have my current email address (which is a brand new address). I just created this address 2 weeks ago, and they have a phone number that I used as a reference when I was applying for the loan earlier that day over the phone, but yet they say this money was already owed. Which is impossible if they have only my new information. On Friday, 10/5/12, I received another phone call from this company to proceed with the completion of my application, because I had never completed it due to the disconnection the previous day, when they called, I asked to speak with a Supervisor of the company, which they then did oblige, and this Supervisor confirmed that I had never received any loans or have ever applied for any loans from this company at all!! I am in fact *nowhere in their system*! I am still receiving Voice mail messages and when I call back,no one answers the phone to either numbers. On Thursday, 10/4/12, I had called and only spoke with someone once, and I was told that they'll see me in court, and that I will get something in the mail from the sheriffs dept. When I asked how much this loan was supposed to have been and what the date of the loan was, I was still told only that they'll see me in court. It is now Tuesday, 10/9/12, and Ive received 2 voice mail calls already from this same company and its the same voice, Also you can barely understand what is being said because it sounds very distorted and this company is supposedly California based, but since that one time the phone was answered last week, I haven't been able to get a hold of anybody. Here are the 2 phone numbers that have been calling me: 415 952 3898 or 415 952 3858. I think Im being scammed and I want to do something before it takes place. One last thing, this voice mail stated that they were California based and when I told this to the Supervisor, she said that Epayday is not in California and I may be getting scammed.
