I applied for an online loan and unfortunately I didnt realise that when you apply for one loan, many lenders recieve your info. Therefore when I got a phone call from an Indian sounding gentlmen telling me I had been approved I did not find it suspicious. He then proceeded to tell me I was approved for a $500 loan. After taking all my info he then told me i needed to make a western union payment of $120 to verify my credibility and identification. I was to send the payment to a lady named Jane romero in the philippines and I would receive my $500 loan plus the $120 back immediately. I was desperate for a loan to pay a couple of overdue bills and figured if I was getting the money right back it would be no big deal. Well after sending the payment I was kept on hold for about two hours supposedly waiting for finalization to pick up my loan when I was told that my transfer was blocked by the IRS department and I need to send in another $190 to have the money released! I told them that I did not have an additional $190 and I would appreciate having my original $120 plus the western union fee of $12 refunded and cancel the loan app all together. They then proceeded to tell me that The account was blocked due to my bad credit and the only way to release funds even if it was just the money I sent, was to pay the $190 to the IRS department and they could not help me until I did that! I called their so-called IRS department and was told the same thing. When iI asked to speak to a manager they told me that the general manager does not deal with customers. Since then I have called the two phone numbers I have for them repeatedly only to have thenm act as if they have never heard of me. Because of these people I am currently sitting in the dark because one of the bills I desperatly neede to pay was my electric bill. The person behind this scam is the lowest from of life on earth to take from people who are obviously in need. I am a single mother with two teenaged kids... I need every bit of help I can get, not some low-life stealing from me.
