I was called today at around 11:00am by a lady with an accent claiming that my computer was at risk of having a virus downloaded to my computer. I did not feel very comfortable, but the guy assured me it was legit and he was with microsoft. I provided them with a tracking number for one of my checks, but since then, I did an internet search on scams and found out they are scam artist, so I have notified my bank and had a stop payment placed on the check, so hopefully this wil take care of the problem before they have access to my account.
