I met Bryce O'Neil in August 1, 2012. He posed as a sports manager and claimed he owned his own business. I told him of my pending divorce and my money woos in a couple of conversations. He claimed he was interested in helping me. I was very grateful and complied with any of his request, including cleaning out my bank account, taking out cash advances, and a shopping spree in Gucci resulting in this man getting $900 on my credit cards.
In return he told me he was going to take any money I gave him and invest it for me to set me and my son up for life. He also told me he wanted to pay off my credit cards. I began to question what he called "the process" when I realized he indeed payed my credit card bills with my own bank account. He would always have outburst whenever I questioned him, stating that he hated repeating hisself. He was always blaming me and making me feel like I was the idiot who couldn't remember anything.
Due to the high activity, several of my credit cards and bank accounts were closed down. Bryce always had a simple solution, that this was all apart of "the process." As condescending as he was, he was also very needy. He asked me if we were in a relationship and I told him no. That wasn't good enough for him, so one day he actually told me we were in a relationship no matter what I said. At that point I didn't care. I just wanted my money back and this man out of my life. He was bring me too much drama and headaches. I played along though, in fear that this man was going to stop "the process" and leave me high and dry.
I handed him the last money I could possibly hand over on August 22, 2012. He told me that we were going to go to Maimi the following day to pick up the money. The next day he text me, when I didn't respond fast enough, he began berating me. I was already suspicious, but now my radar was up. In the following days, I heard nothing from Bryce. He was a ghost who would occasionally pop up to text me that he didn't have his phone and I was a moron for texting him when he was busy. At this point I wanted Bryce to return my money. Forget the investments, I just wanted this man to return the money I had handed to him. He refused.
When an emergency came up, I became desperate and reached out to Bryce for a little bit of money. He told me that he was in Pennsylvania on his way to Virginia and he couldn't help me. I gave him a couple of days, but I couldn't wait anymore. I had NO money at this point. My direct deposits were going to the bank account he got closed down, so I had no source of income. I begged and pleaded with this man. I even offered to drive to Virginia just to pick up my money. Shortly after I started recieving text messages from this m an referring to me as an ungrateful *****. I didnt even argue with him, I just continued to ask for my money back. The verbal attacks just kept coming. This man has said everything under the sun. I have not retaliated with verbal attacks, because my only focus is to get my money back, so me and my son can go back to our normal lives. He told me he wasn't doing anything for me until he got back to New York.
Weeks went by and this man was still missing in action. I called and called and called. He turned off his phone on September 14, 2012. I have been unable to call him or contact him. he has called me three times since then. All calls were made from and unavailable number. When he does call its only to curse me out and tell me how he has my money, but I dont deserve anything. Here we are 2 months later and I have nothing.
He told me he lives at 180 Broadway in Manhattan and his date of birth is 5/1/1964. Through the help of some friends, I have learned that this is all a lie. He lives at 45 Elliot place in the Bronx. I am 99% sure his name is not even Bryce O'Neil.
I am begging anyone who has information on this man to please help me. I not only want to attempt to recover whatever money I can, but I want to prevent this man from doing this to any other young women.
