I went on line to look into a personal loan providers on 9/28/12. I completed an application but not sure for what company. I know it was not Palm Loan Advances however. No where did I see an application fee or I would not have submitted an application. After, completing the application it took me to another screen asking me to complete another application. It was like I was stuck in a loop hole. I stopped looking and decided this was probably not a wise choice. I decided to find a physical location for a loan.

On 10/6/12, I noticed on my bank statement that $30 was debited from my account on 10/4/12. On the debit check was Palm Loan Advances name and phone number. I did NOT authorize or approve this $30 to be withdrawn from my checking account. On the check it says my "Signature is not needed". I have never even heard of this company.

I called Palm Loan Advances, spoke with Dani Garcia. She said this $30 was an application fee charge and that she was going to send me a $100 gas voucher but it would be a couple days. I told her I was not interested in any loans or vouchers she had to offer and would like my $30 back. She refused. I asked to speak with her manager. She would not transfer, allow me to speak or even give me the name of a manager. After continuing to ask for my $30 back and my wife speaking to her as well, she hung up on us.

This $30 unauthorized withdraw has caused my checking account to go negative. We were already in a financial hardship and this has put us deeper in the hole. All I want is my $30 application fee refunded. I don't think this is a lot to ask since Palm Loan Advances has not provided any product, services, loans, etc.
