This company is an internet scam using Craigslist as a tool to take advantage of unsuspecting citizens. In one case a Porsche Carerra was being offered at $40,000, way below market value in order to bait the victim of this scam. The "firm" (CNC Lawyers) claims that the money has to go to an attorney, which is supposedly one of the inhouse partners.
They have a VERY impressive webpage ( CNC Lawyers - CNC Law Group - California / Wisconsin Law Firm http://www.cnclawyers.com/
Through further investigation, calling their number gets you to an answering machine. Furthermore, misspellings on their website makes it pretty evident that it is not a legitimate company. Their address in Los Angeles is a virtual "shell" office on Wilshire that is basically only a dropbox. DO NOT send these criminals money. These people are lowlife thugs and word is spreading fast.
