I paid my bill through my bank Wells Fargo online bill pay. The money was taken from my account on 9/14/2012 and reported delivered to Progress Energy on 9/18/2012. I happen to be on the company's website on Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012 and noticed that Progress Energy was stating my bill had not been paid. I called Progress Energy and advised that I made my payment and that my bank shows it was received by them on 9/18/2012. I then had to call my bank and file a claim and I requested it to be escalated due to Progress Energy stating I was up for service disconnect. Here it is now 10/4/2012 and everthing for proof of payment that both my bank and I have sent, Progress Energy refuses to accept. Progress Energy is refusing to post my payment to my account even though countless managers, supervisors, and other employees from Wells Fargo billpay to the Maitland branch has sent them documentation. I have no idea how I am to resolve this issue. Progress Energy is being very difficult and just rufusing any documentation of payment. I NEED HELP
