I made the mistake of applying for a loan from this company. They deposited $305 into my checking account, then starting 7/6 they charged me $91.50 through 8/17; on 8/31 they charged me $101.50. The total amount I paid off was $467.50. They then attempted to charge me $95.50 on 9/28 which I had stopped and returned to them as I thought I had paid off my loan in full.
I just got an email from them saying I owed them $400 and my account is now in Collections. They said this was the second notification ( this is the first as far as I know). I told them I had paid the loan in full; they responded by saying that those were just for "interest" payments. I asked for the signed document which they have sent me. I suppose I will have to now pay the $400 which I find outrageous! This company is indeed out to bilk consumers and I wish I had read the consumer complaints before applying for a payday loan.
