My husband and I had put our RV up for sale on Craigslist. I received an email about buying it. I had never sold anything on Craigslist before so I was very new to this. I got the story about being out of the country and unable to come see it but wanting to buy it for his brother. I filled him in on details and he agreed to the asking price. Then I got the email about not being able to pay for the transportation fee as he didn't have his credit card with him but he transferred the money to me through Paypal and I just had to send the money to his agent and the other money would be released. We did not feel right about this but went through with the Western Union note anyway. However, I did the 3 day note instead of the same day one. It was still bothering me so I typed his email into Google and found this page with almost word for word stories! I was able to cancel the transfer of $950.00.
