Pace FL- Ryan Sparks claimed he was a student of UWF on their behalf Yada yada yada... Raising money for books for some cancer and burn charity. We gave $110 for two sets of books and several neighbors were taken as well. Cops showed up, detained him and we went down and got our monies back. He was cuffed and released later. Contacted University of West Florida and he was not a student nor representing them in any such manner. They had reveived several complaints about this. May not be a scam but I got my money back! Close Call
