March 2007 I had signed up with this company to lease my credit card machine with Lease source. The guy who signed me up had to take the paperwork with him when he left and came back a few days later saying that i was missing information. After about a week i had to call to request a copy of the lease. A copy of the lease was faxed to me. A few months later I noticed that they were taking out alot of money and that the rates were way more than i was even making. Fees here, fees there and they had signed me up for a 4 year lease term. I was just starting my business in June 2007 and only had a year lease for my space. I would not have signed up for a 48 month lease with $91.85 per month leasing. I called the company and informed them of the changes that was made to my contract and that i would be sending them back their equipment. I sent back the equipment and they threatened to continue to take money from my account unless i paid the buyout costs and termination fees. I called the representative who originally signed me up and he no longer works with them because he said himself that they were a "bad company". He didn't tell me much more about it but he did apologize.

Fast forward five years and now I have formal complaint from them against me for $3490.30 plus $698.06 in lawyer fees. I had received many letters from them demanding payment with all different made up amounts. Every person i talked to said that they would look into and get back to me. Surprise Surprise..No call backs ever! Now i see tons of complaints all over for the same company with all the same problems exact same problems along with news postings about New York attorney General claims fraud in a $10million suit against this company with 100,000 former customers are claiming fraudulent activity from this company. LeaseSource LSI LLC, Northern Leasing affiliates aka MBF Leasing LLC aka Golden Eagle Leasing LLC aka SKS Associates LLC are all operating under the same address. I have had harassing phone calls as well as letters from LeaseSource which stopped for the past 3 years and started back up as of July 2012. Their equipment has been sent back since May 2007. They claimed to have done an investigation and after four years got back to me on the investigation claiming that there was no fraud and demanding payment by various collection agencies.

October 3, 2012 I contacted the law office (which operates from the same address as LeaseSource) and the representative said that he has all my information and if I do not pay will proceed with a lawsuit. It happened to be the same time that I found all of the law suits online against them. He heard me talking about it through the phone and said he needed to call me back. I called the representative back three hours later after not hearing back from him. He was the only one who answered the phone, which I thought was wired being that they are supposed to be such a big company. He told me that he was looking at my credit report and that he can see that I have credit cards in my name that have a balance with more than enough money to pay them, which I do not see how that information is available to him. In the first place. It is quite clear that I am not the only person who has been scammed by this company and I do not see how this is legal and how this company is still able to operate by changing their name over and over. He told me that I will be sued and that I will have to come to New York to go to court or be held in contempt of court. The BBB gave them an “F” rating and the other names that it is listed under is not even listed with the BBB. The representative who originally signed me up made up all this great stuff about the company and how they can save me money but here I am caught in this mess and nobody to help.
