I received a phone call the Sunset publication company for a 30 day free trial for there magazines for 39.95/month on 2/27/12. When I received my Discover card statement the charge was for $119.90 and I had not received the information that they told me that I would be receiving from the company regarding my 30 day trial.I tried to call the company with the phone number that they called me from, but the number was not in service. I called my Discover card on 3/14/12 and they placed a temporary credit pending investigation. Credit was made to my account by Discover card after there investigation of $119.90. I then received a phone call from Sunset Publication and the representative that called yelled at me for cancelling the payment and informed me that I could not cancel the subcription - I told her that I wanted to cancel it all together, that I never received the information regarding the subcription or any magazines. She refused to speak with me and hung the phone up. I then started receiving magazines - none of which that I was able to select and I refused them and sent them back to the company. About a week ago I received a phone call from Ben Johnson from CLX Systems/Westwood Management (a collection agency) and then I received a letter stated that I owed Sunset Publication $1798.50. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office and also informed Mr. Ben Johnson of my actions. I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau in Melbourne, FL.
