I saw this Company online and they were saying "get a free sample" just pay the postage which in British pounds was only £3.09. I thought that sounds good so sent my money and waited for my sample. After a couple of weeks I had a card from Royal Mail through my door saying there was a package at the Post office with a charge of £19.75 Customs charge! I went down to see what it was and sure enough it was from Sylk Skin. I refused to pay the charges and was told at the Post Office "we have had quite a few of these coming through.
I looked them up on the internet and came across your Scam Book - then I read other reports about them. I immediately called my bank and told them about it. They immediately cancelled my bank card so they could not take any money from my account unautherised. I sent emails to the Company with no response.

My advice is if you have given this company your bank details call your bank now! and cancell your card, you get a new one within a couple of days. Be safe not sorry!!

  • I had exactly the same happen to me, to my horror this company has charged my card £185+ which makes me feel quite sick, why oh why did I order the FREE samples of Sylk Skin and Vitalyze and stupidly gave them my credit card details, something I would normally never do. I contacted the bank as soon as I realised that I was involved in a scam and at this time the balance on my card was nil as I had realised very early on that something wasn't right, I was told by the bank that I didn't need to cancel my card just for me to keep an eye out for any more transactions on my card but I would be covered by the bank as I had made them aware that I was involved in a scam. When I received a card from Royal Mail asking for £20+ for them to deliver a parcel to me I contacted the bank again and was told again that I didn't need to cancel my card and that a dispute had been raised, a week later and a parcel arrived through the Post, again I contacted my bank when I realised that all this money was being charged to my card, the bank still said that I needn't cancel my card and that I needed to contact the company to cancel any subscriptions i unknowingly had with this awfull company, why wasn't I told to do this the first time I contacted the bank? I and my Husband am so annoyed that in a way the bank let this company keep taking money off my card. I have emailed this company now to say that I do not want any more stuff off them, but I wish that the bank had told me to do this 3 weeks ago instead of telling me I needn't do anything now that they were aware of the matter. Should have read the small print as this company are apparently not doing anything wrong as in the small print it says that they will send creams out every month at this horrendous price. I can't believe that I have been involved in such a scam. My bank have now stopped my card but I don't know what will happen with the £185 amd will I have to pay this horrendous amount of money? + the pump on Vitalyze is broken
