We were contacted by Roy Sanders by phone in July of this year in reference to our Time share in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, Mexico, and asked if we wanted to sell the time share, we said yes, he said he had a buyer and offered a very good price. He proceeded to send a contract which we signed, it did have a clause that if we backed out of the contract we were liable for the commission. After this, we were told to wait for contact from Gulf Group Capital, located in 142 Carondelet Street, New Orleans, LA 70112

This company asked us for $5,240.00 to be sent to Mexico. We did not want to do this, but they convinced us that it was to show good faith. Well after many emails and phone calls they requested another $7,000 + and that is when we decided that it was something not right, after they offered a reimbursement we never heard from these 2 companies any more.
Despite several emails and phone calls, we have not heard from them or much less see our money back.

- Hi, I believe we too were scammed by Ashbrook Management. I was just on this site a half hour ago as I've been trying to research it a bit and didn't come across ANY Ashbrook management claims on here. I then just did a search again and came across yours posted just minutes ago. I believe we were a part of the same group scammed and we are out 5k plus. My spouse has been the one mostly taking care of it, but I plan on posting our scam as well when I can get all the info together. I hope that we can somehow work together and get our money back. My guess is there is more out there especially for this time period. I just wanted you to know you weren't alone :( and I'm sorry!
