We requested service from Kitchen Aide who sent out a company called A&E who was excellent and the placed an order for parts. Upon on arrival of parts a request was placed installation and Guinco Service was sent for the installation. A technician contacted me and was very knowledgeable and stated that other parts were needed. When the parts did not arrive in time the technician contacted me to reschedule so the parts could arrived. When the parts arrived a service rep arrived at 0730hrs for the service call as he was on his way into the office. He did not have an parts and asked me what did I need. After going through the entire story, the technician stated that yeah there a problem with you stove, that I showed him, and that he would reorder all parts. After a month we contacted Guinco and they stated that no parts were needed and everything was fine. We have now had a 2000 dollar cook top that does not work and is past the return period due to the untruthfulness and unreliability of Guinco Service
This company should not be a Kitchen-aid Authorized Service Company as their Servicemen are unprofessional and a harm to the consumer and the Kitchen Aide Brand

The Techs on the phone or good but you will get the worst serviceman that you have ever seen and he will Lie about stuff and just want to get the serial number so that he can make his money.

  • i joined just because of this complaint because you are not saying something, or being untruthful. As a appliance servicer in the Dallas area, we are also authorized for wp corp. I am suspecting you really dont understand the business. I know both of these companies, and any company that starts a repair, has to finish the repair. Once parts are ordered by a company, that company pays for those parts and have to file a claim of repair to get paid back by the manufacturer. Their is not a "install" company of another companies parts. To add, why would one company diagnose a applaince, then another without looking at it say its the wrong part when they have not see the applaince, then risk ordering parts that they wont get paid back for? You say your out $2000, and its a new cooktop? The manufacturer holds the legal responsibility of repairing your product, not the servicer. I would suggest you contact KitchenAid to correct your concern if it is not working right. thats my 2 cents

  • First, I would have to say how the heck would you question my integrity. I am stating nothing but the facts and want to make sure that this does not happen to anyone else. As you stated you are in the business and it looks as though you don't know whats going on by your erroneous statement "who ever starts the job must complete the job". Call Whirlpool who owns Kitchenaide and get your facts straight. Secondly, you have a vested interest in this business as I do not. This is why I can and will exposed wrong doings by Guinco Service. They are one of the worst service companies I have ever seen, they lie, and don't return calls to get to a resolution of the issues. Do your homework

  • I am in the business, and i do know the the facts of how warranty service is ran and handled as a contractor for a manufacturer. I am stating facts from the repair buisiness side, and something does not add up? You bought a new cooktop cause you like it and want it, and your past the return policy (which is normally no return after install, but sometimes up to 30 days, depending on the dealer) and out $2000 because of a repair company, where the manufacturer holds the warranty to fix and repair your product under the warranty (which is 1 year or more). One company comes out and orders parts but does not return to install the parts (where in this business under warranty, who starts the claim, finishes the claim in almost every case unless someone higher up gets involved at the manufacturer), and then another company says without looking at the appliance that you need more parts and doesnt come out, then arrived with no parts to say he has to order all the parts? To include the ones that you already had? It just does not add up for me, something else is going on, not maybe on your side, but another. What is the serial number of your cooktop. I will use the resources i have to research this for you thru the manufacturer, and let me see if i can get a resolution for you with kitchenaid so you in the end, have a working cooktop.

  • After going though all the run around in or busy life, we just want a nice cook top that worked. We had the cooktop returned and got the same one installed by Lowe's with no problems or issues. Yes, one company did come out and told us exactly what was the problem. He stated that it was not an install issue but a manufacture issue. Contacted Kitchenaide(Whirlpool) and they were very profession and helpful, but sent the parts directly to the house and service order to Guinco Service. Again, the service over the phone was excellent until the worst technician I have ever seen showed up at my house. This guy should have not been allowed in any home in my neighborhood, which I have continually informed my neighbor's though our intranet. He did exactly as I stated earlier and when I called about the issue, I got a lady on the line who only job was to defend this guy and stated some one would get in touch. This never happened and I will also be aware of Guninco and its bad service. All it takes is one employee to run a company no matter how good into the ground if allowed. Thanks for the offer but we have been take care of as always, but Im sure if you ask over at Guninco they will back up the facts of everything I said, except that they think they did their job. What a JOKE!!!!
