Money Club experience
I was contacted by Money Club in November 2011
The salesman named Conner explained how I could start a business from home, and have affiliate partnerships with Amazon.com as well as Google. What could go wrong with such stong partners?
After an initial payment of $600 I became a Member of InfoMoneyclub, and they began promoting the different levels of websites. Of course, the platinum level seemed to be the best bargain I was told that I would be able to offer Amazon products in the categories of books, children's toys and electronics, as well as Clickbank products in four categories, and that the best selling products in each category would automatically be placed on my site.
After being officially entered into the program on 11/21/11,I was refered to my "Business Coach" Max Logan. He was the promotional director who was tasked with selling me my promotional package I assured him that I had little money to work with, but he said that we would look for grant money to help pay for my program. He sent me to a website at www.multisystemprograms.com, which according to him is a lending and grant assistance program for small business. He proposed a $30,000 add campaign to multisystems, and had me watch to see how much money came in. i had let him know that I only had credit on my cards for about $3000. After a couple of days of watching the Multisystems site, They had allocated $27,010.00 for my add package, so I put $2,990.on my credit cards. Max said this was good because he had set his father up with the same package, and he came up $10,000 short, so he put $ 5,000 on his own credit card and his dad put the other $5,000 on his, but it was OK because they paid off their cards in the first year. This 2990 is in addition to the $2,363 that I paid for my eProperty.
inittially Moneyclub built me a starter site that was not yet fully functional. it was supposed to do untill my "eProperty" was built. My initial site had amazon products on it as promised, but shortly the Amazon products disappeared. When I inquired about this they appologised that they had found out that Arkansas does not allow partnerships with Amazon. I was told not to fear, because I could be a linkshare affiliate, and moneyclub would put the same types of products on my site for me from my linkshare affiliate. I signed up for a linkshare membership, and gave the info to Moneyclub, but the products never showed up on my site. I contacted Moneyclub support, and told them that linkshare products were not on my site. They said that I was responsible for putting those products on my site. when I told them that Max Logan had said that they would place products on my site, they said that was only the Clickbank products, and I was responsible for any others. This is definately not what Max Logan had told me. when I tried to place LinkShare products on my site, I found that my Linkshare account had been closed. I looked into it, and Linkshare told me that they do not do business with MoneyClub. I reported this to MoneyClub, and they assured me that this was not true, but I could still have a partnership with a company called Comission Junction. I set up an account with Comission Junction, and have added their products to my site, but none of them have sold.
My ad package guarantees 100,000 contextual visits to my site in a year. It has been nine months since my ad package started and I have had less than 1000 visits to my site, most of which my efforts have produced. My ad package is supposed to include search engine optimization to make my site more visible in search results, but this has not been accomplished. In short, MoneyClub has put me in $6,000 of credit card debt with only a second-rate web site to show for it, and apperantly are not fulfilling their advertising commitment.

MoneyClub is a program of:

  • Seeking Resolution: I'm Looking for a Refund
  • Refund Amount: $ 3,617.00
