Complaint 16117 Details

Was lookign for a car on craigslist in Savannah. The person, Jennifer Miller ([email protected]), stated that she won the car in a divorce and wanted to sell. I asked how she was to sell a car in GA, and lived in Ohio, she stated that she had a previous buyer and the deal fell thru, plus she would have to sell everything thru paypal, and if I was not satisfied that I would get all my money back. I was told to send her my name and address, and I would then receive a confirmation letter from ebay Motors on where and how to send my payment in. I then received a email from a Chris Dauberman ([email protected]), who sent all the information how I needed to send him the payment thru western union, fax and email a converstions. Which Ms. Miller asked me to email her once I sent payment as well. Then Chris Dauberman, sent me an email that insurance needed to be paid to send the car since it was being sold for less that what is is worth. I had a friend of mine to help with the insurance payment, plus sned and email to the help desk, but they tried to run her credit card, but for whatever reason it would not take.
Insurance payment was finally sent, and they stated that I would receive the car by 6 p.m. on Friday evening past (Aug. 26, 2011)
I have exhaulsted all of my saving trying to get my daughter her 1st car. I have all emails and receipts of everything that took place.
I pray that there is something that can be done.

Please let me know what else I may need to do to get the ball rolling on hopefull getting some type of justice.
