Pickfords have been APPALLING, nothing less.
I moved from the UK to New Zealand over a year ago and although they damaged a lot of my items, I am still waiting for a payout.
The items would not have smashed if they had properly been packed, nor would an antique teak day bed have had its leg chopped off it it had not been laid on its side with the weight of the whole container on top! I had antique pots crack, tables warped, soft furnishings solied etc etc.
The girl I have been dealing with has been useless for a year and finally now I have a name of a manager he has not responded either. Pickfords have NO customer relations, their manner in all things once they received my payment was 'defensive' rather than co operative or helpful and I am fed up of spending 13 months trying to sort out a move that should have been rather smoother than it was.
