We were pressured (do it now or the deal won't be good) to purchase a Travelwinds Vacation deal for almost $6,000. It started out at $9,000. He kept lowering the price til we finely signed. The contract said that we could not back out of it. We investagated and found we made a very bad deal. Is there any way to get our money back. We did call them back in three business days to cancel. They said we could not cancel.
Thanks, Suzanne

  • Can you tell me what ever happened with this charge? We attended the same presentation, signed a bunch of papers, except the contract and gave our credit card information. When presented the contract stating you could not get out of it, we changed our mind and they said we could try it first. They still charged our credit card for the $5593 and just like you, we can't dispute until it posts. I've sent certified letters to all their locations in Delaware, Alabama, Idaho and Irving demanding a refund but don't have much hope. I've filed complaints with the Texas AG and FTC also. They operated under the name of Royal Palms Travel, Inc in 2010 and were shut down by the AG in a lawsuit. I guess that's why they now require you to sue them in Idaho. I can't believe people can just look you straight in the face and lie. They don't tell you who they are prior to the presentation so you can't look them up and find out all this. I hope you were able to successfully dispute the charge. Did you write to them to cancel? I'm sick over this.
