I ordered an evening dress from Dressbraw online. I supplied exact measurements for the dress to be made to fit. Dress arrived in reasonable time but the dress simply did not fit. There were several issues. Two main ones were that the one side seam & zip were crooked and sticking out on the hip. The halter neck did not meet at the back neck & was approx 6cm short in length. To do up at the back of neck even if it would stay clipped, would have meant chocking myself. The company offer a refund if it is deemed that the item is not suitable size or of good quality. I advised them immediately as requested. I also attached very clear photos as requested. I didn't have any communication from Dressbraw for 8 days. I emailed again & finally received a 'brush off' email asking that I be understanding & make some little adjustments myself !!! I responded advising that I was not able to do that & asking again for the return address & refund authority number so that I could return the dress for a full refund. Once again I recieved a further 'brush off' email, stating that the dress looked to fit perfectly at the waist, bust & hips (it certainly did not) & that I should be prepared to make some adjustments so that the neck fitted properly. They offered a $5 USD refund. They also said that you can't expect to have the dress be a perfect fit. I'm afraid, when I supply correct measurements to a professional dress manufacturer, I most certainly do expect it to fit well. They advised also that they are not a dress reseller but a manufacturer & so I need to sort my own problem basically. I cannot believe that people like this can actually remain in business, ripping people off and operating without the least bit of integrity. I am happy to pay shipping, but believe this company Dressbraw, should honor their commitment to refund if there is an issue with size or quality. I encountered both these problems. This is a very real & obvious ill fit. The dress is poorly sewn & is not in proportion to the measurements I supplied. I am distraught & have no time to have the dress altered. I cannot ask for a replacement as my event is now & I have to source something else that can be available in 24 hours. I am devastated that they have treated me like an idiot & expect me to just go away. Who do they think they are. Just because they offer a good price for their dresses does not mean that they have the right to therefore produce an ill made garment. They are a scam & very good at pretending to be blind to an obvious problem. Thank you for your assistance. Julie
