I was told that I had outstanding payday loans from an internet company called Cash Advance America. I was not given the date of the loan but was told I was having fraud charges placed against me. He told me that I would be arrested at work tomorrow if I did not pay the entire amount due of $713.00. I became scared because he did call my work place and ask for me by name. I have no idea how he obtained my work place number because I have never given it out to anyone. Due to the fact that he pulled my work place into it, I did get $300.00 together and paid him with a Green Dot MoneyPak Card from CVS. His phone number is (Personal Info Removed) and fax number is (Personal Info Removed). I also have a verification specialist, John Staffoni at 888-821-7576, that has called to verify the funds. I tried to return the call but have not spoken to him. I called the supposed PayDay Loan Company and was told that I was scammed and to get a hold of you to inform you and see if I can get my money back. I cannot express how much of an inconvenience this is for me. I did not have $300.00 to send to a scammer.
