Complaint 15901 Details

Today I received an alert from chase for a charge of $39.95 from STUB LTD COM.
I immediately called my bank to report this fraudulent charge and customer service told me to call them at 1-800-503-2547. I did, and waited over 15 minutes to talk to this man and He told me " We only collect charges from this company (STUB LTD COM) so we don't have any information on them but, don't worry we will cancel your subscription and refund your payment for $39.95" I asked him how can this happen if I never subscribed or order from this company and he interrupted me and reply "Sometime when you order merchandise over the Internet there's a small box that's checked for subscription and you have to on check it or check it so you wont be automatically subscribed to this company" I told him this does not make sense to me and again, he said " don't worry we will cancel your subscription and refund your payment, all I need is your Name,email address and your last 4 digit of the credit card that was charged" I told him I'm not giving him any information of mine because I don't trust him and I hung up the phone.

I then called chase and reported my experience and they told me I must wait for the charge to post to my account before I can put out a dispute on this charge. I will call chase claims department at 1-866-564-2262 to dispute this charge from STUB LTD COM once it post. This is an unauthorized charge from these scammer so don't let them get away it.
