NOTE: Dillard & Yagen & Glogal Lamda are one and the same company!!
I was told today by my cc company, that the Global Lamda chg of 99.90 charged on my Aug statement was actually a Ponzi Scam , yet the Dillard & Yagen charge from July was not on the list.
I too have been dealing with these fraudulent charges. I called my CC Company on the7/12 charge of 99.90, they put a temp cr on account while investigating. Then on 8/7/12 Another charge came in for the same amount under another company name: "Glogal-Lamda". I submitted another dispute with my cc company. Today I noticed I was re charaged the July 99.90 charge. I called to put in yet another dispute and While on the phone with them I just learned that "Global Lamda" was in fact a Ponzi scam.
Connsidering the Dillard & Yagen amounts were exactly the same, I said this too must be a scam. But was told Dillard & yagan was not on their list.
I started making phone calls to all those 3rd party call centers and was in-fact told: that both companies are ONE & THE SAME!! I called back the cc company and they are investigating this.
Anyone out there that has had this charge of 99.90 in July… I suggest you go back and look at your aug statement for the same amount charged under another company.
Here is where this scam gets cute.. On your cc is a chge with a phone #. CALL that # and they give you another Number.. call that # and your told to contact you cc company! I spent over 2 1/2 hrs today. calling multiple #'s. This is what I found out: All these numbers are 3rd party call centers. Apparently each call center refers to a different month of disputed charges. You NEVER get to the actual company that has your card #. I also received a bottle of pills (as stated in the other complaints) yes, it came with no company name, phone # or invoice. I too threw it in the garbage. On my statment today, I also now have a charge for 78.53 which I also disputed. The CC Company called the # and this too is a diet supplement. The only info on this one is a company called "UD" followed by numbers.
