  • I got contacted by this man on October 2012 on match.com. He said he was an environmental engineer, that he lost his parents on september 11, and he wanted to communicate with me out of the dating website after three emails. He sent me 2 of the pictures that show on this report. I began to get suspicious after he started to talk about love and how special i was, then I notice the misspellings in his emails, and then he wanted to leave the website and start communicating through yahoo messenger, gave me his email address [email protected] and then we started emailing each other for a little while. He said he had a daughter but never spoke about her. That ticked me right there because I am a parent too and my kid is one thing I will always mention to somebody because it means a lot to me. Then I asked him to skype with me and he disappeared like magic. That's how I started to investigate about online scamming and then found out that he had deleted his profile from match.com. Fortunately, I did not lose any money with him and stopped it on time. But my guess is he is still out there under another name. I found this website and found this report. For single ladies like me, if you are looking for love online, go to youtube, type online dating scams and there you will find out about everything on dating scams, how Nigerians do it, and a lot other people from different countries. There are also tips to follow in order to avoid getting scammed.

  • Hi stqwana 36, thank you for writing, wow i have learned my lesson and unfortunatly I was a fool and nieve. he told me the same thing, lost his parents in 911, and had a daughter, apparantly he has bin doing this as a job for over 5 years. and sucks money out of these women. also once they delete there profile on match.com it is very easy to go back on line and use a different name or pic. I seen his same profile after a couple months again with a different picture. they are professional at it. well now I am paying for it, and since this happened to me I am having a hard time to trust a man or be in any relationship at all.
Best of luck to you and thanks again for writing to me. I hope someday they catch this f-in bastard. Karma will kick him in the butt.
