I have been on Seniorpeoplemeet.com for quite some time. Because it was a free dating site. I am on disability and cannot afford to pay for a dating service. On the 7th of September there was a pop up screen on the site saying 6 month up grade for $1 a month. This will help you recieve more contacts. I thought what have I got to lose but $6. So I filled out name and bank debt card information. On September the 7th my bank statement said they had charged $81.93 to my bank. I immediately e-mailed them with my compliant and ask to be refunded after two day nothing happened so I called and told the lady on the phone what had happened and she said because I had used the site after the 7th she could not refund my money. I explained to her the site says it is a free site and I have been using it for months. She said I couldn't having been sending messages without paying 12.95 a month and I said to her to check her records and she can see I had been sending and recieving messages for a long time. She was not co-operative so I ask to speak to the supervisor and she basicly said the same thing. I have been wrongly charged and would have never joined a dating site that charges.
