Complaint 156032 Details

Picked up prescription at Walgreens and paid by ck#9182. The First Nation informed me Walgreens put the ck. in twice. Once by elect transfer the second time by depositing it. Bank sent returned ck to Walgreens. Walgreens tried putting ck in the second time and bank returned it. Shortly afterwards I began receiving calls from collection agency trying to collect on a bad check that Walgreens claimed to have. I realized that mistakes are made so I took the bank statement and gave it to the Pharmacy mgr. He
said he would take care of it. The collection calls continued. Returned to Walgreens and spoke to Pharmacy manager. He said, "Corporate has to see where check was put in twice." I argued with him stating I wrote one ck #9182 and Walgreens was paid.
Purchased groceries at Publix. It seems Walgreens was holding a bad ck that I had writen. The ck was handled by Certigy ck. cashing. Called Certigy and they said I have to dispute it. I faxed them with bank statements showing ck. was put in twice.Certigy said I had to clear it with telecheck. Faxed Teleck with band statement indicating ch. was put in twice. Returned to Publix and was denied a second time. Faxed Walgreens, tele ck, and Certigy. Tele ck sent me letter saying they cleared account. Went shopping a Publix it was the same story they wouldn't accept ck. Contacted Walgreens and wanted them to have the Mananger call me. Faxed Certigy and they stated Walgreens made the charge and Walgreens has to correct it.
Two days ago I made one last effort to have Walgreens manager call sent him faxes indicating the two charges. Went to Publix a it was the same story. I have copies of all faxes, all the people that were involved. I am getting documentation from the Bank indicating what I say is true. I have lodged two complaints against Walgreens on their website and in 8 weeks no response.
I was totally imbarassed and humilated about the whole situation. This is a classic story
