under no circumstances should anyone consider employing this company-consisting of 2 very dishonest people tamsin newman and paul walker.
i had to get rid of them in the middle of the job as they could never finish it and started begging aggressively for money well before the job was nearing an end-which it never did, what was done wasnt executed properly and needs re doing.
these 2 people are chaotic and pathological liars,and i later find out [too late for me] that they have a terrible reputation.

From Vitruvius Design & Construction. VAT No: 222/29915/12
We have a claim proceeding again Kyla & David Farmery Riveria Place Beausoleil France. The writers of the above, with our Insurer Aviva Business Secure for 3,493 euros in unpaid work and 3,965 euros for stolen tools.
We took the job on from previous builders, based in Eze, Aidan Cruise Renovations, we later found out they had not been paid in full.
We, pulled off the job as payments were outstanding, continually, during our time on site. Our Insurers advised us to pull off.
This started as a small job, a few thousand, we therefore didn't take our usual 3rd upfront payment, it grew as jobs were appointed.
This was the clients first owned home, they could not agree on anything,even though in their fifties.
We were not appointefed a to do design but were constantly asked to add design input, without charge. One clients would order say a bath and a fews days later it would be returned slowing down work. Another example: We sourced marble for a floor laid 50 years ago, the right colour etc had to be found, we spent days on the net, we travelled to Italy a round trip of 850 kms, charging them cost and showing the yards invoice, to be told petrol and man power would not be paid! They or rather Kyla expected 50 year old marble the same colour as her floor to turn up as if it came from Fly (a second rate furnitre store in Nice). And collected FOC.
Vitruvius have sent many emails to these clients asking to meet and reslove these issues, but they refuse.
Since Vitruvius they have appointed new builders and by accounts money to them is not forthcoming for works done.
It must be also noted that the Farmery's land lady where they have been living has a rit against them for money unpaid.

Vitruvius Design & Construction continued;
When we pulled off site, advised by our insurers, the clients refused to give back our tools, Kyla told us at first they had been taken by a third party, nasty people we would not want to deal with! she then relented when we informed her that our insurers were involved, saying the tools were on site but it was not possible for us to get them.
These people's arguement when you approach them on any account is.... we know people!
This has been a very trying period for us as to date we have never come accross clients like this. Our team have worked on many projects in the UK, New York, France, Moscow, Italy and the Middle East. Clients include: The Dorchester Hotel, Alexandra Palace, The Eagle Star Building, The Savoy Hotel, Harrods Food Halls, The Pump Rooms in Bath, a house for The Sultan of Bruni, Stings house in Highgate, Peter Gabrielle's house in Box, Nelson Peltz's mansion in New York etc.
When we took this job, as we alway do, we funished the clients with our insurance documents, it covers us for 20 million against any claim. Not once have these people contacted our policy holders to submit a claim, as it has no standing.
Kyla informed us that the money borrowed to get the mortgage was done on the belief from the lender no renovations were needed. When payments were late or not paid, she told us her friends were transfering money! this never happened. These people have sadly bitten off more than they can chew. We have seen this before in the South of France. Cars, property etc all on the never, never!
Vitruvius would like to sort this out without involving lawyers, insurance companies etc, but it seems Kyla and David Farmery would rather send slander than approach the correct chanels.
However, we still welcome them to a round table meeting to try and sort this out.

- It is illegal for a UK based building company to carry out renovations in France. Your claim that you have insurance cover for 20 million may be true in the UK but this would not be valid for work in France. Anyone considering working with these people should call them in on their insurance - it would not be worth the paper it is written on.

- Hi beesnees, are you the person who posted the original complaint under the name 'bee' that Vitruvius assumed was posted by us? We wholeheartedly agree with your comments and can put you in touch with several other local victims of these scammers. Our current builders who were called in after Vitruvius absconded with our cash and materials will be more than happy to attest to the shoddy workmanship they have had to remedy.
