I have this as a pending charge on my checking account. Of course, I have no idea who these people are and made no purchase in the amount of $10.70 to anyone recently. I tried calling the phone number that Scambook listed and received a message saying "no one is available right now. please call back later."
I will make a complaint to my bank but as in my previous Scambook complaint, my bank assumes no responsibility for these things. By the time I talk to them, it will probably have passed from pending to a full transaction meaning the money will have been delivered to "www.mallofactio."
I'm a bit afraid to check on their website but I will email this company as well. I hope someone starts to take these things seriously. I cannot afford extra charges and shouldn't have to worry about fraudulent charges. Also I am disabled so going through lengthy processes ie state attorney general, is difficult for me to do. Which probably makes these scam artists a lot of money as there are many people who feel overwhelmed by having to do a lot of writing and phone calling especially for relatively "small" amounts of money.
