Costa Vaggas Housing Manager of Medway Council, Housing Services, Kent revealed that the residents are being lied to about their 2 weeks Christmas Free rent. The rent is calculated so that it looks like they are getting 2 weeks free rent and he laughed. Many complaints were received from residents informing the department that their rent statement showed that they owed 2 weeks rent in January 12. One resident who is a qualified accountant stated it is a rent scam.
