I have Diverticulitis and had o deal with Member Services (Sherrie,Sherry) I had to change my plan and called Altamed and was told that changes would take effect soon, however this would take 30 plus more day's.
I am in chronic/massive pain and could not wait the 30 plus day's without medical attention.(I being a ER staff) I tried to explain, to the Customer Service reps what my problem is she just kept interrupting(how ignorant/unprofessional) my conversation told her I had already been to the ER and they told me to go to my doctor for a follow up, she just was very, very combative as if she knew all the answers in the world would not be mindful or respectful of what a patient was physically going through she kept coming up with avenues that I had already exhaust otherwise I would have not called them up, she just was fighting ever thing I told her. Bottom line I am in pain and have already been to the ER I need to see a doctor asap. I internal organs are swollen and it looks like I am 9 months pregnant would not help me.
A resolution for the arrogance of this Customer Service individual is requested .
