We also went to a sales presentation with World Luxury Destinations where they promised to sell our Mayan time-share and rent weeks we purchased at Grand Miramar. They referred us to James Brooks of Continental Resources who referred us to All-Star Equity International. We balked at first when they wanted money from us to sell our time-share but were given names of individuals who had been pleased with their sell earlier. Both individuals we talked to and each confirmed details of the sale and rental transactions. We wired money to Mexico to a escrow account 4 times after being given closing dates after each wire. The Mexican government supposedly had taxes, registry of foreign investment fees and excess income taxes that came up unexpectantly. We were promised that the buyer (a pharmaceutical company) was going to reimburse all of these charges at closing.
We had a final closing date of August 28, 2012 after working closely and having repeated conversations and emails with Roger Miller from Universal Assets Group and Samantha Carter with All-Star Equity International. Since the closing date has come and gone with no contact, we have tried emailing with no response and calling all of the contact phone numbers listed on their letterhead and websites and all cannot be completed as dialed. They are UAG 303-954-4869/303-954-4951/866-978-5982 and All-Star Equity International 832-260-0579/83-260-0580/866-260-5822.
