On or about july 15 2012 the engine block cracked in my 2006 Honda Civic. Because it was out of warranty I took the car to someone that charges half of what Honda charges. After the work was done I found out that Honda had a problem with this model years engine block cracking. Thus they had extended the warranty on the engine block but I did not get this notice because the notice was sent to a leasing company that had oringanly bought the car but for some reason backed out of the deal. The dealer did not change the info on Honda Canadas data base. So Honda will not pay the bill because I took the car to someone else. If I had known about the warranty Honda would have done the work. I could use some help in this matter
